Saturday, May 10, 12-3 p.m. Bounce Around at Pump it Up! 5000-B Coconut Creek, Coconut Creek. Call: 954-344-9727. Have a bouncing good time at Pump it Up! Music, games, snow cones, Mother's Day Craft, balloon sculptures, t-shirt decorating (while supplies last). All activities are free. Kids try it out and get a free flowering plant for mom. Pizza available for purchase.

Join the naturalist for a hike through sandy scrub or pine. Come prepared with outdoor clothing, sneakers or hiking shoes, insect repellent, sunscreen, and water. Meet Gumbo Limbo at the site of the month.

Thursday, May 15, 10:30-noon Boca’s Coastal Preserves at Gumbo Limbo 1801 No. Ocean Blvd. Reservations Required. Call: 561-338-1473. Ages 7 & up. Cost: member of Gumbo Limbo, $4, non-members, $6. Discover the walking trails and history of Boca’s barrier island parks. Bring lunch so you can picnic. Meet at Gumbo Limbo.

Friday, May 16, Dusk, Cinema at Mizner Park Free. See "Shrek the 3rd" under the Stars. Bring a picnic basket and lawn chairs.

Friday, May 16 at 8:30 p.m. Eyes to the Skies at Children's Science Explorium 300 S. Military Trail. Call: 561-347-3912. Meet up in the parking lot behind the Explorium. Explore the skies with a professional grade telescope. All children under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult. No registration required – just show up. The telescope will be out for at least 1 hour, weather permitting. Local astronomers are invited to bring their own telescopes, too.
